Honey Banana Bread

This makes wonderful banana bread!

Ingredients:

1/3 c. softened butter
1 egg
1 c. honey, or maple syrup
1 c. mashed banana (2 med bananas)
2 c. all purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions:

With a mixer, beat butter, egg, honey and banana.  In a separate bowl, mix all dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and mix until moist. Fold in pecans, if using. Pour into a greased 9 by 5 inch loaf pan, or a bundt cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Turn oven down to 300 degrees and continue baking for about 30 minutes, or until done.
